Thrips coxalis Masumoto, Tsutsumi & Okajima, 2023

This species is widely distributed in Honshu to Kyushu, Japan and mainly occurs on the young leaves of Lespedeza buergeri at May to August. It is very similar to T. palmi and T. alni but it can be easily distinguished from the latter two species by the hind coxae with distinct microtrichia on dorso-inner surfaces.
